Western Maine Supply Co. has been committed to improving the level of service you expect from a “full service” lumber yard. Established in 1964 by Frank Lowell, Sr. (photo right), Western Maine Supply Co. started it’s humble beginnings on Summer St. in Bethel selling a selection of hardware, paints and building materials to the local community.

They soon out grew that location and moved in Feb. 1968 to its current location on Cross St. in Bethel. Always expanding their product offering, the Lowell family and Western Maine Supply Co. had gained the reputation of being “The Place, For all Your Building Needs”. 

Still operated by the Lowell family, with brothers Bob and Frank Jr. at the helm, Western Maine Supply has sailed into the new millennium with a new look. A state of the art Drive Thru Warehouse now stands where the pole barns of the old yard once stood. A paved parking lot and yard now makes loading and unloading of material a breeze and more storage space for new products. These improvements and more allow Western Maine Supply to prove once again that they are “The Place, For All Your Building Needs.”

Currently, Western Maine Supply employs over 20 workers and has a fleet of 7 delivery trucks including a boom truck for job site delivery. Product offerings include carpet and flooring, kitchen/bath cabinets and fixtures, and landscape products, as well as all the high quality lumber and building products that builders and consumers have come to expect.
